ATA is one of the leading theological accrediting agencies in Asia. ATA is a direct outcome of the South Pacific Congress on Evangelism held in Singapore in 1968. It was established in 1970. It is composed of theological educational institutions, committed to evangelical faith and scholarship, which are networking together to serve the Church in equipping the people of God for the mission of the Lord Jesus Christ. It strives toward the development of evangelical biblical theology by strengthening interaction, enhancing scholarship, promoting academic excellence, fostering spiritual and ministerial formation, and mobilizing resources to fulfill God’s global mission within diverse Asian cultures.

Afghan Bible College is a non-denominational Christian theology college that provides foundational Christian theological education through online and distance-learning programs for Afghan believers, students interested in Christian theology, and those preparing for ministry. The college serves people who want to continue their studies but cannot leave their home, work, church, or community.

Credibility and innovation are two defining qualities that characterize the College’s staff and faculty. The College was established to educate and equip students interested in Christian theology through distance-learning programs, enabling them to pursue meaningful theological study and obtain appropriate qualifications for more effective service to the Church and their communities, without having to leave their homes or local context.

Afghan Bible College provides students with the opportunity to achieve their goals in Christian teachings and ministry through online study. All programs and classes can be delivered through various online educational methods without the need for physical presence on campus. Our Beliefs

Afghan Bible College is an interdenominational Christian organization that upholds the principles of the early church creeds, specifically believing in the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed.

  • The writing of Holy Scripture, in the fullness of its content, was inspired and guided by the Holy Spirit through authors chosen by God.
  • The existence of one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • The creation of man in the image and likeness of God for dominion.
  • The fall of man into sin and captivity in judgment and death.
  • The full deity and full humanity of Jesus Christ in His incarnation, atonement, death on the cross, and bodily resurrection on the third day.
  • Salvation from sin and eternal death is received by the grace of God through faith and the gift of eternal life.
  • A holy heavenly Christian church, which is the body of Christ.
  • The return of Jesus Christ and the establishment of the millennial reign of Christ and the church.
  • The presence and blessing of eternal life in the heavenly Jerusalem with God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ for all who believe in His promise of salvation.

The college provides academic and Christian theological education for distance-learning students and formation in a Christian worldview for leadership and Christian ministry.
